About

Wheatgrass Saloon is an eco-boutique and cold-press juice bar with an Up-the-Stairs
Gallery in the heart of historic Livingston, Montana. We are dedicated to providing
healthy options for our bodies, minds and the planet as we support the work of local
and regional farmers, artists and fair trade businesses.

Lisa Snow Beaudin opened the doors of Wheatgrass Saloon on September 1, 2012.
She was tired of driving over the snowy pass to Bozeman for shots of wheatgrass
and green drinks. Lisa decided that Livingston was ready for a super healthy option
for dining and drinking that would compliment the many restaurants and coffee
shops lining the streets of downtown Livingston.

Lisa purchased one of her favorite and well-established gift shops/tea rooms in
town, The Drawing Room, from her friend, Patricia Buckley.

The name change to Wheatgrass Saloon officially occurred when the juice bar
opened December 1, 2012 in conjunction with an art opening of Jim Barrett’s works
in the gallery which Patricia had maintained.

Wheatgrass Saloon offers cold-press juices using a Norwalk juicer, raw vegan
smoothies and vegetable-laden Dragon Bowls. We strive to use as much local and
organic produce as possible.

The eco-boutique offers a go-to assortment of gifts for others and treats for oneself:
bulk teas, candles, jewelry, bath items, clothing, cards and journals, with many made
by local and regional artists and sourced from fair trade businesses.

The gallery is arranged in the upstairs events room of Wheatgrass Saloon. Art
openings occur for the Livingston Summer Art Walks which take place on the fourth
Friday of the months of June through September as well as for the Holiday Stroll in
December.

Wheatgrass Saloon is delighted to share a space with Elk River Books, truly one of
the best used bookstores in the country. Elk River Books features frequent readings
by noted authors and poets. Combined, Wheatgrass and Elk River provide a pleasant
and stimulating atmosphere for conversation, learning and enjoying a day in
Livingston.
