Green Door Gallery – –celebrating the work of local and regional artists and a culturally engaging experience for the viewer.

Green Door Gallery is a member of the Livingston Gallery Association with Art Walks held on the fourth Friday of each month, June through September. In addition to art walks, Green Door Gallery holds year-round art exhibit openings and events throughout the year such as Art on Tap during Craft Beer Week in May and the Holiday Stroll in December. The 2017 Holiday Stroll took place on Friday, December 1st from 5:30pm – 8pm. We were happy to celebrate our 5 year birthday for Wheatgrass Saloon which first opened its doors December 1st, 2012 with an art exhibit of Jim Barrett’s paintings.

Re-Murmurations: a Flight of Images, Words and Poems by Storrs Bishop & Marc Beaudin. The birds are back at Green Door Gallery. Save some time in your busy holiday shopping time to stop by and enjoy the chance to view new work by Storrs Bishop and Marc Beaudin: mono prints, poems and photographs. The show will remain up until the end of January.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The other exhibit, Yellowstone Park & Paradise Valley Works by Joan Watts. Joan Watts is the daughter of the late Alan Watts, and co-editor of the newly released book, The Collected Letters of Alan Watts Ms. Watts, a New York City native and Livingston resident is a student of “sumi-e”, a traditional form of Japanese painting an experience that greatly influenced her painting style.


Ms. Watts says of her work that she paints images in an ethereal, somewhat surreal style influenced by her training in Japan.

The show will remain up until the end of December.
